Life in the city is often seen as the men in the dull grey suits or worse still those not old enough to be dull are labelled yuppies (amongst the more pleasant definitions the dictionary says, professional career, affluent lifestyle). The reference is not always meant kindly. I am positive that we could all think up a dream job, but equally positive that even if our abilities were up to it the market could not carry that many superstar self made heroes. We can't all be engineers or astronauts but we can avoid dull, and fuelling ones passions is one of the keys that make us individual. To be consumed with enjoyment for work and for it to become ones lifeblood is only for the lucky few. Most are familiar with "Work the necessary evil", so best we make the reasons for our day job worthwhile.
